John Bolten

John is a passionate songwriter, musician, and folk music enthusiast from Wood County, West Virginia. Now based in Baltimore, MD, he fronts Geraldine, an original old-time/bluegrass band which Bluegrass Country Radio calls “the perfect blend of grit, drive, originality, and fun.” He has earned numerous performance and songwriting accolades with eleven selections in national songwriting contests including the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest, the Hazel Dickens Songwriting Contest, and the Common Ground on the Hill Song Contest. A “songwriter’s songwriter”, John crafts memorable songs that honor his Appalachian roots while striking a delicate balance between self-reflection, wit, humor, and tradition.

Friar Jon

Hailing from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Friar Jon crafts folk songs that feel timeless yet rooted in the present. His warm, resonant voice and deft touch on the guitar create an intimate soundscape that draws listeners in, weaving together reflections on spirituality, life, and what it means to lose and find yourself. With melodies that linger and words that resonate, his music invites audiences into a space where storytelling and spirit meet.
