Singer-Songwriter
William is a singer-songwriter whose warm baritone and intimate acoustic trio arrangements blend traditional folk, classical, and jazz influences into songs that navigate the space between our hopes and disappointments. Raised in a musical household in Washington, D.C., he was immersed in its thriving traditional folk scene from a young age, while also receiving formal training in classical and jazz piano. Literature and poetry—his other life-long interests—finally collided with his musical background in college, when he began writing songs. He is currently recording his debut album “Visions of the Sun”, which will be released in August 2026.
Fiddler
William has played the fiddle for as long as he can remember. He has been attending jams, camps, festivals, and playing for dances since he was child and has learned from renowned fiddlers such as Alan Jabbour, Dave Bing, and Charlie Walden. William has become a fixture in the old-time and bluegrass communities in Baltimore, performing with Big Cricket, Coastal Plain, and his own string band trio, among other projects. He continues to explore traditional American fiddle styles and repertoire on his own and with his fiddle students.
