Bio

William is a singer-songwriter whose warm baritone and intimate acoustic trio arrangements blend traditional folk, classical, and jazz influences into songs that explore the tension between our hopes and disappointments. Raised in a musical household in Washington, D.C., he was immersed in its thriving traditional folk scene from a young age, while also receiving formal training in classical and jazz piano. Literature and poetry—his other life-long interests—finally collided with his musical background in college, when he began writing songs. He is currently recording his debut album “Visions of the sun”, which will be released in August 2026.
